What materials are the play couch and the play furniture of?

The coverfabric of our play sofa and play furniture is made of 60% recycled polyester (from PET bottles) and 40% polyester. The foam core is PU foam from Germany with different degrees of hardness, depending on the shape and use.

Where is the Wonderwuzz play furniture produced?

We are Made in Germany and EU. We produce our modular play furniture fairly and regionally in Germany and Lithuania. The heart of our furniture - the foam - is produced in Germany and the cover is sewn in Lithuania. Our furniture is then finished, packed and shipped from our warehouse in Germany.

How many parts does the play sofa consist of?

Our play sofa consists of eight individual parts: four square seat cushions, two of which can be zipped together, two triangular backrests and two rectangular armrests.

How sustainable is WONDERWUZZ play furniture?

There is no way around the fact that foam is made from non-renewable resources and is therefore not the best for the environment. Unfortunately, there isn't an alternative yet and that's why we've made it as sustainable as possible - our foam is locally manufactured in Germany under strict environmental regulations and the quality is so good that it lasts for many years and can then move on to another home and not in the recycling yard! There are now more and more sustainable solutions for the fabric and we have chosen a robust and sustainable fabric made from recycled PET bottles.

What can I do with the play furniture?

Children are full of imagination and will have many ideas of what they want to build on their own. In case you need inspiration from outside, we have put together an activity guide with lots of great ideas. You can also find lots of inspiration on our Instagram page @wonderwuzz

Why is the play sofa so expensive?

Expensive is always relative. Of course, this is a large sum, but this is put into perspective over the entire playing and lifespan. The modular play sofa is versatile and you can replace other furniture, such as a guest mattress or a play mat, with it. You also have to ask yourself critically how much money you spend on so-called age-appropriate toys, which often become uninteresting after a year or two at the latest. We also offer the possibility of giving you vouchers.

Product care

How can I remove stains?

Our cover fabric is dirt-repellent. If something bigger happens, you can first try to wipe it away with a damp cloth (wet wipes are ideal). If you can't remove everything, you can simply take off the covers and wash them in the washing machine at 30°C.

Are the covers washable?

Yes! The covers are removable and machine washable at 30°C. To dry please hang up or lay down and not in the dryer! It's easier to put the covers back on when they are still a bit damp.

Order and delivery

Can I see the different colors for the upholstery fabric beforehand?

Yes! You can order fabric samples of all colors in the shop.

What do I get when I order a play sofa?

In addition to your play sofa / play furniture, you will receive an activity guide and a small carabiner. The Activity Guide should inspire you about everything you can build with the play furniture. Children usually don't need that, they just start building, but unfortunately we parents are often not that creative and need a little bit of inspiration is appreciated.

We also send you a carabiner to remove a cover. Our zips don't have a puller for a variety of reasons including safety, aesthetics and protecting your walls. If you need to remove the cover and wash it, pull the carabiner through the opening and then you can easily open the zipper.

What payment options are there?

We accept all common payment methods. Maestro, Visa, Mastercard, Apple and Google Pay, Paypal, Shop Pay and Klarna Sofort.

How long does it take for my order to be delivered?

We always try to reproduce your favorite colors quickly and have them in stock. If that's the case, we can process and ship your orders within a few days.

How much does the shipping cost?

Shipping within Germany and Austria is free. We deliver to all EU countries, but shipping outside of Germany and Austria is subject to a charge. For shipping to Switzerland, please order at www.wonderwuzz.ch, shipping is also free.

How is the play furniture delivered?

The play furniture is shipped in cardboard boxes. The play sofa is always shipped in several boxes. Since we're trying to avoid plastic as much as possible, it would be good if the box didn't get wet or have to stand in the rain while it's waiting for you to come home. We deliberately refrain from shipping our play sofa vacuum packed in a smaller package as this will affect the quality and longevity of the foam.

How long after receiving my play furniture can I return it?

You have the option of returning the play furniture 14 days after receipt. They must be in perfect, unused condition and returned in the original packaging.
